Liquid Facelift

A liquid facelift is a nonsurgical procedure that restores facial volume, reduces wrinkles, and rejuvenates the face. The liquid is typically a hyaluronic acid–based injectable filler, such as Restylane or Juvéderm, in conjunction with Botox, to relax facial lines, and possibly a superficial chemical peel, to brighten skin. It’s often referred to as a Y lift because of the angles it creates. As we age, our face loses volume and the skin begins to sag, dragging the face downward. A liquid facelift seeks to restore a more lifted, youthful silhouette, mimicking a Y shape.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a liquid facelift?

Facial contouring using dermal fillers for volume and tissue support and neuro-modulators to lift brows, mouth and neck.

Does the Liquid Facelift require surgery? Do I need general anesthesia?

No surgery required! We use a topical prescription numbing cream that we apply here in the office. We schedule you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your procedure so that you have some time to let the numbing cream take effect.

How long does a Liquid Facelift last?

This depends on the person and also if full correction has been achieved. The average person lasts between 6-12 months. Sometimes small touch ups are needed at the 3 month time period.

Is the procedure painful?

With numbing cream the procedure is very doable. Pretty hurts …but not too much.

What is the recovery like?

With any type of injection there is always a possibility of bruising or swelling bu that does not happen to everyone. We always tell you to avoid any aspirin, aleve, or ibuprofen 7 days before coming in to see us in order to decrease your chances of bruising.

What kind of downtime is there with a Liquid Facelift?

As with any injection there can be bruising or swelling. We typically tell clients that they need to wait 1-2 weeks and then return for a follow up to make sure their liquid lift looks perfect.

Why would I choose a Liquid Facelift rather than the traditional surgical Facelift?

Dermal fillers are priced according to the type and amount used. The volume used is based on the amount of volume loss that you want treated. As the most common dermal fillers are pre-packaged in 1 ml syringes, we generally work in volumes of unit mls. At your initial consultation with our physician you will be provided with the exact price of your treatment.
